Flow Drilling & Tapping
Flow drilling is another process that we use in order to produce
bushes & threads in tube or sheet, eliminating the requirement of welding
bushes & nuts to components. The flow drilling process forms the metal
into a collar inside a tube or through a sheet using friction, the material
formed can be up to three times the parent metal thickness. The collar can
then be flow tapped if required; the flow tapping process does not cut or
remove any of the formed material, making it stronger and quicker than welding
nuts onto components.

European service for several of our long standing customers through a transport
company partnership.
