Plate Laser
In 2004 ASM
purchase one of the most sophisticated pieces of sheet / plate laser cutting
equipment in the world. Holding a cutting accuracy of 0.03mm, the automatic
and programmable Computer Numerically Control of the focal position and rapid
lens change enable instant changing from various materials, without making
any manual adjustments. With these features and performance the “PLATINO”
is an excellent machine for medium to high volume batch production.
Brief Capacity Guide:
Sheet / plate size - 2500 x 1250mm.
Mild Steel - 1 to 20mm.
Aluminium - 1 to 15mm.
Stainless Steel - 1 to 12mm.
Perspex - 1 to 10mm.
Auto “Rumbling” with ceramic media for removing oxide and deburring.
Tube Laser
Our
tube laser cutting service comprises of two BLM / Adige C.N.C machines, the
first one, the Lasertube LT651 was commissioned late 2002 and the second,
the LT120 was commissioned late 2004.
The versatility of tube laser cutting is truly staggering due to the ability
to cut any shape in almost any profile of tube, even specially produced bespoke
tubes.
Traditionally parts were either drilled, milled, hand cut and deburred, tube
laser cutting does away with all these processes and produces parts more accurately
at a fraction of the time, making it a competitive & viable alternative
to your requirements.
Even though the machines can be loaded by hand for prototypes or small batches
the automatic tube feed makes large batch production simple.

Round - 12mm to 120mm.
Square - 12mm² to 100mm².
Rectangular - 15mm x 20mm to 70mm x 120mm.
Oval - 15mm x 20mm to 70mm x 120mm.
Tube Lengths - 3.2 to 6.5mtr.
Mild Steel - 7mm max thickness.
Aluminum - 4mm max thickness.
Stainless Steel - 4mm max thickness.
