ASM has been established since 1952 when the primary business was manufacturing
high quality chrome plated roof and boot racks for marques such as Rolls Royce,
Mercedes and MGB.
During the advent of plastics and polymers in this area ASM diversified
into other tubular products such as “Aids To Daily Living” equipment,
electric scooter & electric wheelchair components and furniture.
Over the last 15 years ASM has invested heavily in new plant and equipment
and now have some of the most technologically advanced “state of the
art” machines available.
Our future aim is to provide new customers with a “One Stop Shop”
for all their requirements from simple component parts / powder coated or
chrome plated component parts / modular assemblies right through to fully
finished products. All ASM services are provided under one roof, therefore
eliminating the need for you to shop around or move products between sites
and companies.
We also endeavour wherever possible to work in partnership with our customers,
providing technical development, assistance and back up. Not all designers
/ customers are aware of the capabilities of our equipment, so if an item
can be produced more quickly, more efficiently or more cost effectively ASM
will respond pro-actively and help our customers achieve their optimum requirements.
